Approach
Twelve elements. One operating system.
The Harmonic Architecture is Group 18's framework for reading an organization as a single design. Every element depends on the others, so the assessment covers all twelve and the redesign proceeds in order.
Select an element to read how it is assessed.
Why all twelve
A fix in one element is undone by a gap in another.
A new operating cadence fails if roles do not carry the decisions it needs. A financial model goes stale if no ritual reviews it. A hire into an undesigned role inherits the constraint it was meant to remove. Point fixes recur because the elements around them were left as they were.
Assessing the whole architecture makes the dependencies visible, which is what allows the fixes to be sequenced rather than attempted all at once.
How an engagement runs
Four stages, in order.
- 01
Diagnose
All twelve elements are assessed through interviews, artifacts, and the financial baseline. The output is a map of where the design is failing and what it costs.
- 02
Sequence
Fixes are ordered by dependency and return. Structure before roles, roles before rituals, rituals before tools. The sequence is agreed with the leadership team.
- 03
Rebuild
Practitioners work alongside the client's leaders to redesign each element and put it into operation. Nothing is delivered as a document alone.
- 04
Measure
The financial model built in the diagnostic becomes the scorecard. Progress is read in margin, cash, and capacity, not in activity.
Start with a diagnostic.
A fixed-scope assessment of all twelve elements, with a sequenced plan and a financial case for the redesign. Most engagements begin here.
